In 2009 I converted my residential investments to commercial and due to bad experiences, I decided to self-manage. How hard can it be? Yes, it did become hard. One of my commercial tenants through the years became more and more belligerent, aggressive, lied, and stole cash from me. I have now found Pure Property Management, and as the name says, all they do purely is managing property. My belligerent tenant is now working well. Jane managed to negate my ten-year-old self-management problems and put the operation back on rails.
We knew there had to be a better way. After years of dissatisfaction with large agencies that collected rent while pretending to manage our assets, we changed to Pure Property Management and have never looked back. Our tenants in NSW and QLD now have managers that engage with them regularly, ensure that our interests are protected, and the property is looked after. It’s win-win and we couldn’t be happier with the service that Jane provides to us in the Hunter. Our tenants have also told us how impressed they are with the improved service and timely response they receive. I was introduced to Melinda as I was very unhappy with how our property was being managed at the time by a different agency. I was in need of advice and Melinda provided that unconditionally. By doing so (perhaps unknown to her) she also provided much needed support during a very stressful period. Her professional conduct and knowledge clearly reflected her experiences in the industry, a stark difference to what I was dealing with at the time. Her professionalism was further evident as at no time did she pass any personal judgements towards the other agency.
What stood out for me was that we had never met before and I was living overseas, yet she took the time to listen and research information to help me try and resolve my issue with the previous agency.
